OK Financial Group has advanced to the semifinals of the cup competition.
OK Financial Group won 3-2 (25-23 19-25 25-18 23-25) in the third Group A match against Woori Card at the 2023 Gumi-Dodram Cup Professional Volleyball Competition held at Gumi Park Chung-hee Gymnasium on the 10th.
OK Financial Group, which recorded two wins and one loss in the group stage, confirmed its advance to the semifinals as second place in Group A.
OK Financial Group Apposite Spiker Shin Ho-jin scored 25 points to become the main player in the victory, while Cha Ji-hwan (19 points) and Park Seung-soo (13 points) also contributed to the victory.
Woori Card recorded 1 win and 2 losses and was frustrated in advancing to the semifinals.
Woori Card Apposite Kim Ji-han (26 points), Song Myeong-geun (22 points), and Han Seong-jeong (14 points) fought hard, but could not prevent the team from losing.
OK Financial Group took the lead in the first set with Shin Shin-jin, Lee Jin-seong, and Cha Ji-hwan’s high-altitude bombing.
However, Woori Card started to lead 10-4 with Han Seong-jeong and Kim Ji-han scoring in the beginning of the 2nd set. Song Myung-geun also scored, bringing a set and turning the match to the starting point.
OK Financial Group, which started a counterattack, brought three sets with great success, Cha Ji-hwan, Shin Shin-jin, and Park Seung-soo. In particular, starting with Jeon Jin-seon’s blocking goal in 12-12, he scored 5 consecutive points, breaking Woori Card’s will to pursue. OK Financial Group eventually brought the third set to 25-18.

Korean Air came from behind to win 3-1 (17-25 25-21 25-18 25-21) in Group A match against KB Insurance at the same venue.

Korean Air players, including Lee Joon (18 points), Kwak Seung-seok (15 points), Lee Soo-hwang (15 points), and Jin Ji-wi (14 points), led the victory with even performance.
