SJM Denies Interest In Vietnamese Casino ‘$60 Billion’

Vietnamese media said in a statement that Macau casino operator SJM Holdings reported interest in “a $6 billion resort and casino complex project in the city of Cuinone” was “a complete fabrication.” Cuinone is a coastal city in the central Vietnamese province of Binh Dinh.

“Rumours of SJM Holdings’ involvement in casino projects in Vindin province, Vietnam, have been posted on some news websites in Vietnam,” Jonathan Fein, senior legal adviser at SJM Holdings, said in response to GGRAsia’s investigation.

“We can confirm that SJM is not involved in any casino projects in Vietnam. SJM’s only casino operations are in Macau,” the statement added.

The SJM brand has previously participated in some Request-for-Information (RFI) processes regarding the opening of casino markets in Japan. 바카라사이트

SJM Holdings was founded by the late Stanley Ho Hung Sun, a former monopoly of the Macau gaming business. Other companies related to the Ho family operate casinos in other regions, including Portugal.
