The Korea Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour Doosan E&C We’ve Championship, which kicks off at Teddy Valley Golf & Resort (par 72) in Jeju Island for four days from the 10th, is a new event this year with a total prize money of 1.2 billion won. it’s a contest

A total of 120 players participate and determine the winner through 72-hole stroke play.

The most eye-catching player on the list is Park Min-ji , the “strongest” who emptied the domestic green for a while.

Park Min-ji went on an expedition to Europe after missing the cut at the Ever Collagen, The Siena and Queens Crown in mid-July, the last tournament of the first half of the year. He tied for 20th at the French Evian Championship, and is back this week after a short break.

Park Min-ji participated in 11 competitions this season, passed the cut 9 times, and entered the top 10 six times, including 2 championships and 3rd place once. He is ranked 3rd for both season prize money and grand prize points.

Park Min-ji ranks 5th in average at-bats without major weaknesses, such as 8th in fairway landing rate, 20th in green hit rate, and 14th in average putting.

Park Ji-young , the “trend”, achieved two victories in the first season of her personal career at the Ever Collagen Competition, where Park Min-ji missed the cut.

Park Ji-young participated in 16 competitions in the 2023 season, won 14 prize money, and entered the top 10 seven times, including two championships and two runners-up. She ranks first in all season prize money, grand prize points, and average at-bats.

Park Ji-young also maintains a good performance with an average green hit rate of 12th and an average putting of 3rd, so attention is focused on whether ‘rival’ Park Ji-young and Park Min-ji will be able to reach the heights of 3 wins in this new competition.
